Christmas is a little different for our family this year. For most of the last several years all my girls and I were together at a Christmas hosted by my middle daughter. But this year the oldest moved to Georgia and I relocated to Louisiana. So it is different this year. My youngest and her boyfriend are here with me for the holidays.
Tonight we went to my Mom & Dad’s where we celebrated Christmas Eve with a wonderful meal shared with Mom, Dad, Sister Teri, Teri’s hubby and one of her sons, my youngest (Chelsea) and her boyfriend. The meal was wonderful with lots of goodies. Afterwards we had a gift exchange and spent some time visiting.
Tomorrow the “traditional” Christmas meal will be here at my home. There is really ugly weather moving in so we’ve moved up the schedule and we’ll be eating at noon. That way my brother-in-law and nephew can be home (4 hours away) before the horrific weather hits.
And I had another early Christmas gift. A friend of mine who is working in Korea called to with me Happy Holidays. I was so excited to hear from him.
So to all of you, no matter where you are, what you are doing and who you are with, my deepest wish is for you all to have a wonderful Holiday Season filled with love and happiness.
Merry Christmas to you all!
