Compliments!

There is a lady in France who writes poetry. Now, I cannot read (or speak) French, but thanks to Babel Fish I can get a really good idea of the words. Her blog is Mary the Poétaniste.
As some of you may know, my latest passion is photography. I really do need to retire in order to devote sufficient time to this love so you can well imagine I’m counting the days! In the meantime I take every opportunity I can to get outdoors and start snapping photos. Water and sunsets play a strong role in my current photos – mainly because I LOVE the ocean and we have amazing sunsets here.
What does a French poetry blog have to do with my photography blog? Well, Mary has paid me one of the nicest compliments I’ve ever received. Two of my photos are gracing two of her beautiful poems!

wow Martie, those are beautiful. I especially like the waves breaking on the shoreline in Guam. Hope you get to go back for a visit in April, like the photo says.
Have you thought about opening an etsy shop to sell the photos?
